To see our live broadcasts and on demand presentations your
computer has to support the Windows Media 9 file format. Most
workstations already support Windows Media 9. To ensure correct
player configuration you can either open our test
file or go through our system
configuration test. If you open the test file and can
see the video playing, your system is already up to date and
you will have no problem viewing the presentations. The system
configuration test gives you a more exhaustive result and
helps you configure your system in more detail.
HOW TO UPDATE YOUR PLAYER
Windows-users trying to see a clip encoded with Windows Media
9 without the WMV9-codec installed are presented with a dialog
window to confirm download and installation of the codec from
Microsoft. When you select ‘Yes’ in this window,
the codec is automatically downloaded to your computer and
installed into your player. You don’t need to restart
your computer or browser and the clip will start playing as
soon as the installation is complete.
NOTE! Some corporations has restricted access
for users to perform this form of automated installations.
If that is the case, you will need to contact your local
IT-administrator.
